Series documents the work of the Planning Board in the construction of public works projects and the preservation of historic buildings and sites. Records include maps, tables, graphs, reports, correspondence, inventories, and minutes. Topics include the Burns federal building project, historical building and site preservation, and a county by county assessment and inventory of works projects. Most of the records refer to the period from 1934 to 1937, however, some statistical data includes information dating from 1900.
